I was planning on making Sekihan tonight as I finally was able to find the adzuki beans, but now I have a bigger problem. I can't find mochigome (sticky sweet rice) around my area. Is there an American grown rice that I could use? We have all kinds of rice at the local supermarket except this kind. There is a "sushi" rice, a pearl rice, basmati, jasmine...the list goes on. Does anyone know of a good substitution unitl I can head into Milwaukee or Madison and pick some up? We were looking forward to a Japanese dinner tonight!:?
