Hey guys!!!
How r u?
Wll, I got a question about Japanese sake. My friend is holding his birthday in about a week or two and I wanted to give him sake as a present. However, I wanted to give him one of those tall sake bottles which ive seen from somewhere. Something like the image i attached .
Is there a special name for these types of bottles of sake?
Also can anyone please recommend me a brand of this type of sake which hopefully i might be able to buy.
Thanks.

This bottle of this size is called ꏡr isshou-bin.
Shou is a unit for measuring liquid, approx. 1.8 litre.
Sometimes Ē shouchu (Japanese vodka) is also available in isshoubin, but normally when people say isshoubin, it means sake in this bottle.

It is "ONIKOROSHI" "JYOUZENMIZUNOGOTOSHI".
"ONIKOROSHI"
Dry sake,The sake which a man likes.
This sake is not suitable for a beginner.
