:wave: Hi everyone here's my little thread dedicated to the wonderful Kami-sama! (No pun intended!!!!*pout* don't laugh!)


Since there was no (except for an onld Memorial thread by Darkshadow) real thread for him I decided to start one!!!!

Poor Kami all forgotten!!:(

Kami for those who don't know was the drummer of Malice Mizer he died a while ago but I haven't forgotten him. Though I was really only introduced to Malice Mizer a while ago he quickly became my favorite :blush:

The pink hair and just everything about him is awesome in my eyes so!!!!! I wanted to spread the knowledge!

(And if I can post Urls.... I'll have a video of his duet (of the song Regret)

I still "remember" Kami (I use the word loosely because I was never actually aware of Malice Mizer while he was alive). His death was so sad...
From what little I can gather from interviews and the like he seemed like such a nice person...

I like that pic of Kami with the muscles. Reminds us that not all J-rockers are uber-femmy, eh? ;-)

Yes~ and you know in all those pictures that's his actual hair. I read that he never used wigs~! But a shampoo that dyed his hair. I wonder how he got such a great result when he has white hair in Le Ciel though ^^

O Yesterday we were looking a house make over programm (1 out of a 1000)
And the woman bought very expancive butterfly wallpaper.. My mom hatet it but I loved it.. (I just tought of one thing :p Bleu Butterfly's YES KAMI )

I've always liked Butterflies... And now when I think of Butterflies I think of Kami, and I like them even more :p I loved his butterfly costume ^___^

I looooove butterflies...always have:blush: When I see two butterflies playing with each other in the spring I feel happy. And ofcourse when I see a blue butterfly (in real or on a picture/drawing) I think of kami and I feel a bit sad, but also happy:bluush: A classmate has these very cool earrings of butterflies and I lovet hem. I saw them and first thing in my head was Kami (after that came 'kawaii':p )

I actually saw this website before~ I don't know about EVERYTHING that was written there but most of it IS accurate information~ So I'm assuming she didn't make those things up~

And yes that drumset is awesome! The set ups pretty neat too~ Some people say it's difficult to play with things spread out that way... But, I find it kind of looks cool that way :p

Kami is mean:( He was mean to Yu-ki..very mean one time

KAMI: Yes, yes, right. ::laughs:: However, later, on the road, we got used to it Yu~ki-chan's part kept getting more and more interesting. In our Talk Corner, we used topics of the area where we were playing. Like stories for each region, so the audience and us could connect. One time, the audience didn't follow, so I give the microphone to Yu~ki-chan and ran off stage ::laughs:: He just stood there, shaking and stuttering! ::laughs::
Q: Poor Yu-ki! ::laughs::
KAMI: Yu~ki was whispering, "Kami, come back quickly...", shaking all the while ::laughs::

And I actually read more about seppuku... it's actually IS pretty interesting :relief:... it seems bizar to want to do this... but from what I read, conisdering the culture it's normal...

It's ritual suicide that was practiced in the hanami time~ It was thought to be an honorable death for samurai and nobility~ There were several reasons why people commited seppku : to follow their lords, to die without foalling the enmies hands and other reasons like that.... It's kind of disturbing, and morbid~ but I also see why it would be interesting to learn about it~ it's really an art ~ And that was one of Kami's interest which is why I went to look up more about it.... but I actually do find it rather interesting! :relief:

hhmmm...in that case I think I have heard of it before:relief: Wasn't it a very painfull way to kill yourself?? It is very interesting, so I can understand why Kami was interrested in it. He liked things about history of countries at war and stuff like that, so I guess the samourai were very interresting for him:blush:

What bothers me a little bit is something I read in an interview...they were asked what they now wanted to say to theirselfs 10 years ago and Kami said : Hurry up and die already:( :( ...it accually is ironic, but sooooo darn sad:(

It was painful, but they died pretty quickly,because they had "seconds" or Kaishakunin who, once the samurai did the cut with the tanto (knife) or a wakizashi (dagger) (though if they were to young or "evil" or they just couldn't plunge the knief/dagger in their own stomach they were given a fan or a branche of some kind instead)would cut their heads off (in, hopefully one strike), so they didn't suffer too long. Seppuku is supposed to be a clean, diginifed and honorable act, if the smaurai had shown suffering it would have taken from that, so generally speaking they didn't suffer to long... Still it's a little disturbing~

And I find it kind of sad that Kami had such a fixation on death. And when I think that he wanted to say " Hurry up and die" to himself, I always feel sad...

In that case seppuku is an other kind of honorable suïcide then the one i read about. 'Cause I read something about cutting in the belly and dying very painfull (I won't give any details).

I felt sad when I read it...it's strange. He was feeling more happy, because he started living healthier and then he does die...also kind of ironic:(

Yea :( it is ironic... but I lie to think that at least he didn't suffer and he WAS happy~ or at least he was heading in that direction~ I like to think that he was a happy peson! It makes me appy :-)

I was watching this very old interview with Malice Mizer and Kami spoke the most of all. And he smiled a couple of times (he also really laughed). So I made a printscreen of him smiling and cut out the picture. And he looks very cute on it:blush:

OMG!!!! IM SOOO HAPPYYY!!!!!! i was out in a trip for quite a while and to comeback and see this awesome Kami thread, makes me so happy, A-Chama i want to thank you fo doing what i was planning to do when i went back I LOVE U!!!!!
I know this might be too silly but i have to say it:
When my little sister died, i remembered how much she loved Kami-Sama and i hope she could meet him wherever they are. Kami is such a big person to me, even if he's not here i just can't forget him :(, and to know theres people who still remember him makes me extremely happy, usually when i see Kami i cry, its noy a lie, i do!! but when i see this pretty thread i cry but of happyness, im very sentimental... and i cry easily so forgive me for how dumb i am, but its just that im very happy!!!
I want to be part of this thread cuz' i really love my beautiful Butterfly and to make you happy i'll post a picture:

I know what you mean all the good bands disbanding.. but sometimes things don't work out or their are disagreements in musical diretions it can't be helped that eventually some bands can't stay together....And for Malice Mizer one of their band members (one that's been their almost since the inception of Malice Mizer) died ... it's normal that they decided in the end they couldn't continue with the band....

And Kami is totally adorable! And I find from the things that I've read that he had an incredible personality! And he seemed like such a kind person... Honestly Devious... I always feel a little sad when I think of him myself... because I know I'll never get the chance to meet him...

And yes, that another thing that I like Kami's hair was ALWAYS natural! When he died it he actually used a type of shampoo that dyed his hair when he washed (or so I've read) it... so I think it's only natural it was so beautiful<33 And I think it's amazing the type of things he was able to do with his hair and... when it was long <33 I just loved it!!!

But I honestly hav yet to find anything I dislike about him... or at least about the personality he showed to his fans...

Awww! Kami-sama :love: I love him and MM! I read once that Yu-ki would rely on Kami for dance cues and once Kami ran off stage during a live show and left Yu-Ki holding the mic, utterly stage frightened. I just laugh every time I imagine it! Poor shy Yu-Ki! Kami you rascal!
He was really gorgeous. That hair!! I love when he played drums and it goes flying! It looks amazing! Like in "Au revoir", it just goes crazy and if I ever played drums I would want his long gorgeous hair so my hair could go crazy like that too! One of my favourite videos is the live version of Regret (I'm not sure which one though - I heard there is 2 live version), with Gackt on piano, and Kami on drums... it makes me just want to cry, but not from sadness, rather from the beauty of the music... it is so good to see Kami's happy transfigured face as he plays the drums in that piece. :love:

Actually I can say, that even though Kami is no longer alive he has influenced me lot. Because I think to myself " If Kami were alive and I met him, is this the kind of person I want to be in front of him?" I feel that I want to be a person that wouldn't be ashamed in front of him.

I know this might seem like a big obesession, but the value he like most was "kindness" and he was someone that was health (even if he smoked) he didn't do anything, that I would want to ignor, or pretend he hadn't done. And I feel, like I want to be that kind of person too.

I guess may be what I say sounds weird... but Kami is really my hero.

As for a tribute to him~ I guess anything is good, some people have made fanart, others website some poems... I guess it's whatever way someone feels most comfortable... and is able to!

I don't own it... thought I want it... >__< and it's basically a box with a blue butterfly cover and it has three songs that Kami composed before he died, Malice Mizer did the final arrangement on them... and I think a photobooklet of Kami ! I actually I have a scan of the cover!

The tracks (they're all instrumental) are: Saikai, Unmei no Daei and Mori no Naka no Tenshi.

I cried when I found out what he died from. I didn't know before today and let me tell ya, I bawled! Those pictures are freaking amazing. He was always one of the most beautiful in Malice Mizer. Also, the album cover fit him because his favorite animal was the butterfly. Ironically, mine is too. I'm obsessed with butterflies and moths... I have since before I found out that Kami's favorite animal was the butterfly. Another ironic thing, I'm obsessed with the image and symbolicment of the butterfly and so was he... That's what I call coincidental and ironic!
