The famous Seymore Hersch, published the plans from the Pentagon, on IRAN (yes I-R-A-N). This considers using "tactical nukes", against suspected deep underground facilities. These facilities are part of IRAN Nuclear Program

Would President Bush go to war to stop Tehran from getting the bomb?

The Bush Administration, while publicly advocating diplomacy in order to stop Iran from pursuing a nuclear weapon, has increased clandestine activities inside Iran and intensified planning for a possible major air attack. Current and former American military and intelligence officials said that Air Force planning groups are drawing up lists of targets, and teams of American combat troops have been ordered into Iran, under cover, to collect targeting data and to establish contact with anti-government ethnic-minority groups.

American Naval tactical aircraft, operating from carriers in the Arabian Sea, have been flying simulated nuclear-weapons delivery missions—rapid ascending maneuvers known as gover the shoulderh bombing—since last summer, the former official said, within range of Iranian coastal radars.

The Pentagon plans for and the military drills for zillions of things, but you go ahead and panic if you want.

What mike said, I heard it on an episode of Stargate, but I think it rings true, the US military always has more then it needs, and plans for everything.

And what if Iran gets bombed?, serves itself right for having a nut job president threatening the world and especially the total destruction of another nation.

I may dislike Israeli policy but I don't condone wiping it out.

Does this mean I have allies?!? But, seriously, the thing that makes "clandestine" operations "clandestine", is that no one knows about them. So how would a couple of ordinary citizens know about it? We're not that bad at keeping things under wraps.

There has never been a secret about the US government's actions or intentions in Iran.

Scott Ritter - former chief UN weapons inspector in Iraq - argued back in 2005 that plans for an assault on Iran are being drawn up and acted upon gright now... as we speakh.

In preparation, Ritter says, the US is galready committing acts of war on a daily basish, including reconnaissance missions and other cross-border operations, some of which are being carried out on its behalf by the terrorist group, the Mojahedin-e Khalq. Activities that are violations of Iranfs national sovereignty.
(David Wearing, eExpects predict US attack on Iran,f October 11, 2005; http://newswire.indymedia.org/en/2005/10/825811.shtml)

Fred Halliday, Professor of International Relations at the London School of Economics, pointed out that even back in 2003 in Washington, the fashionable phrase was, gwimps go to Baghdad, real men go to Tehranh.

And what country in this world doesn't "engage in acts of war everyday"?!? Every last one of them with even a hot air ballon spies past their borders, arm a military of some kind, plans of all kinds that will never be heard of again. Come on! Is it you all are afraid of the U.S. or something?!?

TREATY ON THE NON-PROLIFIRATION OF NUCLEAR WEAPONS
Negotiations on non-proliferation of nuclear weapons started during 1950's. The Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty was finally concluded in 1968, came into force in 1970 and up to this date was signed by 187 states.

Iran is in violation of this treaty. Whats the punishment for years of violation ?
