I've just recently started listening to their music so I dont know to much about them :clueless:

Die is my hero... both him and Kaoru can play guitar, but there is something about Kaoru that I find less attractive...

But yes, I go from website to website searching for images of him and the rest of the band... in fact, my favorites are Die and Shinya (how's that for variety?)... and I like to make graphics using their pictures. I actually have a layout I made once for my myspace account...

To post your pictures so they're not thumbnails you need a photobucket account or something, so you can post your pictures from a url. You upload your pictures on your photobucket accout (or whatever place you decide to use) then click on the image Icon when you post (in advanced) then you put the url of the image and there you go!

Mind you the image code, (if you use photobucket they have one...) also works.

Apparently a few of the japanese fans thought he was fat when they were in their visual kei days so Die went on a diet. He was already thin enough though !!!!! Personally I liked him the way he was. I think he might be a little to thin now.

yeah that was an amazing tour!
at first kyo didn't come out, which made me sad cuz hes my fav next to die and toshi...but that was when i was at the back of the line...just as i was like 4 people behind, kyo stepped out! yeah! it was great...him and Die....have very soft, warms hands....nice grip too. and suprisingly there english isn't bad either.

i got a pic with them too...if i can find it i will scan it and share but i had to use a disposable cuz my digital was being retarded...

It was about Christmas, when one of my friends showed my pictures of Diru...before I just knew some of their songs and wasn't really interested in their look....and I liked Die (and Shinya) from the begining...and I think last week-end I watched their concert in Germany and fell totally in love with Die:p

^They've been to Germany like almost every year since they started touring outside of Asia. They'll be back this summer for Waken Open Air. They're usually invited to the large Rock Festivals.

AMAZING CONCERT!!
I had the most amazing time last night! Here's how it went...
First, we waited FOREVER for Bleed the Dream to come on...none of my friends liked them...so they were giving them the finger...and pretending to cut their wrists because the band is emo. I felt so bad because they were doing that! But oh well, it's a lot too late now, but it was funny! Also, we (I joined in this time) made fun of the singer because of his really really tight pants that were hilarious! We also discovered that plugging your ears helped you understand the lyrics because you could hear more voice...but we didn't care. They played 4 or 5 songs,I only know the title of one of them because it's on their MySpace...Closer to you...but it's not a great song.
Second, Fair to Midland came on. They didn't play the only song of theirs that I like...Orphen Anthem '86. They had Jesus on the drums, and Weird Al with an afro playing bass. In the middle of a song, a guitar string broke...so that was a little entertaining.
Finally! Dir en Grey came on. They didn't close the curtains for set up, so we had the occasional fan girl screams. It took them forever! But the performance was AMAZING! The first song they played was Agitated Screams of Maggots, not their best song, but it was a good way to start off the concert. They had a video for it playing...it was a strange video. Okay, they played another song after that but I didn't know it...sorry! After that, they played Saku, and had a re-done version of the music video playing. I don't remember all of the songs they played, but I know most of them.
-The Final (My favorite)
-Obscure
-Spilled Milk
-Merciless Cult
-I think they played C and/or Garbage.
Okay. Other things that happened. A ton of people fainted and got passed up to the security guards at the front of the stage in between songs. Also, between songs, someone in the band would drink a little bit of watter out of a bottle and then throw it into the crowd. Also, after each song, Kaoru and Toshiya would throw their guitar picks to the crowd ('m not sure if Die did or not). At the very end of the concert Shinya threw some drum sticks. From where I was, I was watching the mosh pit(s) start and stop...it was a little amusing. I was also watching people mouth the words...and fail miserably!
Okay..Kyo...his famous cut himself with a razor blade and then bite it was a hit. (I looked away) Anyways...he also hit himself in the chest with the microphone a ton of times. He...spit water onto people in the front...bloddy water, mind you.
NOW MY FAVORITE PART!
THE END OF THE CONCERT...because I pre-ordered a CD, I had a chance to get a sticker with my pre-order slip. I DID! It was really shocking...my heart was beating faster that it was when we got there...trust me, my heart would have exploded...had Amber not calmed me down! Now...me and Amber had to find this lady that worked at FYE, we did, after getting crushed and jumping over some railing. They kept telling us 'Go here,' 'Go there' it got pretty annoying, until they got most of the people out of The House of Blues. Amber was a little worried about leaving me, so I chose a temporary mommy. Her name was Tracy, she's from California and has met Dir en Grey before. Her and her two friends all got the stickers, so I trailed along with them.
They took us upstairs, it was really really cold! While we waited I looked at the floor where the crowd was...WOW! There was blood. You could tell what was from Kyo, and you would see where the mosh pits were! After a few minutes, Kaoru came out, followed by Shinya and Die. There was a guy there that had really good English, though he was Japanese. He translated for a few people. It was pretty awkward, but they were tired, I could tell! After only 5 or so minutes, it was announced by the translator-guy that they were about to leave, and he apologised. When he said sorry, I said 'No, it's fine, They did really well tonight.' Die, Kaoru and Shinya all looked at him wondering what I said that everyone laughed at and agreed with. When he said that, Die was closest to me and he said 'Thank you,' not 'Arigatou'...it was soooo CUTE!
The only band members I had anything to say to weren't even there! I was supposed to tell Toshiya that Miyavi is going to marry him. And then I was supposed to call Kyo cute because he hates that...but noooo...they were tired...understandable! They did good, and I'm glad that my first concert could be an AMAZING Dir en Grey concert!
One thing I didn't put in there was that during a solo...Kyo put a bucket over his head that had 'RAPE ME' written across it...it was so funny!!

Well...we also yelled (trying to talk) to other people...and we made them slightly more angry by turning our backs to them while they were performing!! We also spent our time working our way more towards the front...

I dyed my hair red...but it was only temprorary...but since I naturally have really light brown to blonde hair, it looked really good...until it started to fade, then it went pink and then orange-ish...but the orange looked kind of cool!

well since you asked, i did have a dream of die last night:-) i had a dream that he was a new student at my school lol. He was in my class sitting across from me. kaoru was there too! oh, if only that were real.
oh and a Die fact, uh... didn't his apartment catch fire? lol he sprayed himself with the fire estinguisher how cute is that! :D anyone else got anything?
