Today there are too many forums spread everywhere. People usually prefer the most visited forum, or forums designed for one particular anime.
There was a download site, i don't remember its name, there you could download anime only if you had sent 10 or more messages in its forum. When you start to browse the forum you see that %80 of the users sent only 10 messages, and %10 of them sent 11 or 12 messages. %~8 of them has less than 10 messages, they gave up at the very beginning... The rest is moderators and admins, lol!

Yeah there are alot of forums but I tried to create few as possible to try and catagorize the content best I could. With out making to many subforums...lol my co-admin is trying to work on that problem for me. And what do you mean by the most visited forum? Do you mean the forum with the most posts?

We used to offer free downloads but then got rid if them at my web hosts request.
The problem with forums is that you really have to propose an original content, something that is not easily available on the net elsewhere. The best strategy is to spend first lots of time to fill your own forum before going life. When people arrive on an empty forum, they tend to leave immediately.
On the other hand, when a forum seems packed with information and a little difficult to navigate, it has the same effect. You site obviously has lots of material to propose, but it is covering so many anime that people might just find it too general...

I think you shouldn't.
Because once you join in, there's no way out forever!
