Why? Do you want to be a sushi chef? Have you ever made it for yourself and came to this counclusion? It would be nice if you could give us some story or a detail so that we can contribute more easily.
As for becoming a sushi chef, it doesn't seem to be as hard as it's made out to be. I think you have to be trained at a sushi restaurant, and usually it takes a while before you can actually make sushi. In a lot of places, they seem to give a trainee chores at first so that you'll know what needs to be done.

I watched an interesting sushi program.
A sushi chef said sushi is not just 'sliced fresh fish and rice'.
Profesional chefs mold sushi with a hollow inside it.

i've seen many doramas and anime and red cooking manga. the same opinion about sushi cooking is that "only good cook who makes sushi with all his heart and will, can be the sushi cook"
