In my opinion, this book it great!
It's called "Essential Kanji" by P. G. O'Neill. Check it out if you're haveing trouble with kanji. It explains how the book works, good ways to study, and good ways to test yourself. It's a gret book!
It teach you 2,000 kanji. That's a lot T-T lol But if it will help learn Japanese reading it's worth it, right?
:D YAY!
By the way, it cost 18$ (in the USA) for this book. It's perfect <3
BUY IT!

I like "Kanji Power", by John Millen (Tuttle), but it's more suited to people who have some experience with Japanese.

Tomii, by the way, let me tell you that I'm happy that you've been continuing your learning, hope you got your microphone/speaker situation worked out... good luck in your learning.

8 a day? Wowee! I remember back in the days I used to do 6, but once I started to learn alot, like for example now I'm on around 250, I reduced it to like 2-3 a day as I was learning to much and forgetting previous Kanji.

And that book you mentioned, thanks for the advice, I'm gonna buy myself a copy now off Amazon! Thank you!

I like the Kodansha Kanji Learner's Dictionary, I find it clear and easy to understand. :-)

I have that book, along with the Kodansha Kanji Dictionary. I should really get to grips with it, but I'm going through a lazy patch at the moment and need to give myself a kick up the arse to get moving.

I like the Kodansha Kanji Learner's Dictionary, I find it clear and easy to understand. :-)This is one I'm planning on getting, but I'll have to order it off the dictionary as the books available at the local bookstore fall in the line of dross like "Making out in Japanese" and that sort of crap...
