How would you say x out of y things?

For example ' 1 out of 3 games'
'2 out of 9' apples
just anything like that.

To say A out of B, you can use "B no uchi A"
number B (+ counter) no (something no) uchi number A (+counter).
e.g.
1 out of 3 games
３ゲームのうち１ゲーム 3 geemu no uchi 1 geemu

2 out of 9 apples
９個のりんごのうち２個（のりんご） 9 ko no ringo no uchi 2 ko (no ringo)
You can also say
りんご９個のうち２個 ringo 9 ko no uchi 2 ko
or
りんごここのつのうちふたつ ringo kokonotsu no uchi futatsu

2 persons out of 100
１００人のうちふたり 100 nin no uchi futari
