'Knock' Yokoyama became Osaka Governor, Yukio Aoshima became Tokyo Governor and now today popular comic and entertainer Sonomanma Higashi (http://www.yomiuri.co.jp/dy/national/20070122TDY01002.htm) has become Miyazaki Governer. What is it about ex comedians that makes them run for office?
