Well....because we kept talking about Yu-ki in the Kami threat, I just thought. Let's make a Yu-ki thread and the problem is solved.

I wonder what he is doing....I mean, K�zi is in a new band and is a solo artist, Mana had Moi-Dix-Mois, Gackt is solo, Klaha is solo.....but what is adoreble Yu-ki doing?:(

In interview with Malice Mizer the interviewer always says the name of the member he/she has an questio for, of course:p And I noticed that when they say Yu-ki.....he always looks of and says 'hai' (yes)...like he wasn't paying any attention at all and just heard somebody saying his name.....soo cute :cute:

Yu~ki bought this guitar because he liked the cheap price (for breaking it on stage). But he realised that it has better sound than he expected and he tried to break it, but he couldn't

Yeah, I really wish that Yu~ki would do some music-makin, he was a good bassist imo and also his song Syunikiss that he composed was awesome (first Jrock song I ever heard! so I have a lot to thank him for :blush: ), he should do some composin! :p But really, whatever he is happiest doing... if he has a good life in whatever he's doing now, that's cool...

OMG!!! When I started this thread I didn't expect that anyone beside dragonlady_e and myself would post here:p I'm glad more people remember Yu-ki, because he is soooo cute.

I'm also obsessend with him, for some strange reason he never looks really scary. First I thought he did sometimes..but not anymore. K�zi can look scary (per example in the Kyomu no nkade no yugi PV (if I rembered it corectly...that's the pv with the long dreadlocks right?). But Yu-ki doesn't...he just has a face that's too cute to be scary....

Oke....I'm more obsessed then I realized:p I like Yu-ki a lot in the Shiroi hadani kuruu ai to kanashimino rondo PV:blush: That outfit looks very good on him :cute:

Yu~ki is the former bassist of the Visual kei band Malice Mizer. He had been with the band from its beginning (in 1992) until they announced they'd be going on an indefinite hiatus in December, 2001. While the other members of Malice Mizer have either gone solo or joined new bands, Yu~ki has done neither.

Yu~ki claims that the first thing he does in a morning is eat chocolate.
After the departure of Malice Mizer's vocalist, Tetsu, he was asked to become Malice Mizer's new voice but declined.
In live performances with Malice Mizer, Yu~ki assumed the position of a count or vampire; Gackt was usually the hero, Közi often took the odd roles, and Mana was the girl. This pattern carried over into the band's movie reinterpretation of Bram Stoker's Dracula, in which Yu~ki played Dracula.
Yu~ki wrote the music to the Malice Mizer song Syunikiss　～二度目の哀悼～. He also wrote the lyrics to both versions of Közi's song Memento.
Although there are many rumours as to what his real name is, none have been proven.
Yu~ki is notorious for being shy and would often rely on late Malice Mizer member Kami for dance cues. Once during a live show Kami ran offstage, leaving Yu~ki holding the mic and he was struck with stage fright while talking to the audience
Yu~ki's Malice Mizer colors were orange and yellow

Actually what happened was in the interview where they mentioned that they asked Yu~ki to be vocalist they were just sort of joking. The entire interview they were giving silly answers and one of them was that they were so desperate for a vocalist after Tetsu that they even asked Yu~ki. If you've seen the Societe de Pariente video you would know that he can't really sing. ^^;;;

I saw both movies now and I like Bara no Konrei the best.

The other one, Verte Aille, was weird. I don't understand the roles of Mana, K�zi, Kami and Yu-ki...It's really all about Gackt.....and there isn't realy a story-line in that one. Bara no Konrei is the story of Dracula and they all have a clear role in the movie, so I understoud that one better:blush:

I thought Yu-ki was more handsome in Verte Aille, though.....in bara no Konrei he looks so old:p

Kami is somthing like a Cousine or a brother of Gackt. He is in love with the girl and Jalouse at gackt.
Yu~ki is the land owner i geuss really clear is his role not.. But the house is his :D
Mana has 2 roles just like Kozi.
Mana is the maid and the prostitude. (the maid at home and in the bleu with Gackt the prositude.)
Kozi is the muse ?? he tells the girl and gackt her bad futere :P and he is The Clown.. Who turns quit weird and upsets Yu~ki, Gackt and the girl. (Kami seems to like it.)

Verte Aile I guess was more on viuals than storyline...there were more panoramic shots in this film than there were in Bara No Konrei.

The real isseu in Verte aile -d'image- is what i think the Girl. She is told she would die.. Kami want's her Gackt has her ans love's her.. And Yu~ki watches over her (and gackt and kami. ) He looks a little like the big caring grown up :D

Actually Verte Aile was a movie version of the skit that Malice Mizer did live. Here is what it's really about...

**spoiler warning**

Gackt is the main character, the Hero, as he is called
The girl, his girlfriend, is the Heroine, as she is called
Yu~ki is the Heroine's brother
Kami is a friend of Gackt who is jealous of him
Közi plays the fortune teller and the mime
Mana plays the Heroine's maid and the main prostitute

There's a lot of ambiguity since there are no spoken words except the one part where the Heroine whispers something while she is dying, which is supposed to be really significant, I think, as it connects with the song of Bel Air. It also may be confusing for people because it goes back and forth between the past and the present. Basically Gackt and the Heroine are in love and spend time together and one day they go to see the fortune teller, who is Közi. He does a tarot reading for her and it ends up with a premonition of death. The two of them are shocked at first but then sort of go on with their lives and not worry about it until they see Közi-mime with his performance (which I think is very good) and he kills himself which reminds them of the Heroine's prediction of death. The two of them begin to really worry, especially Gackt who starts drinking away his sorrows at the tavern, where Mana-prostitute happens to be. He's not a very important character, he's just there. ^^;; So soon the Heroine happens to fall ill and does end up dying. It's not clear why or how she falls ill. It's pretty sad. :/

So yeah that's a basic summary of the movie. ^^;;

Bara no Konrei was better in my opinion...but maybe that's just because of more screen time for Kozi (the boy has a great talent for death scenes, doesn't he? :lol:).
Although, Yu~ki does look better throughout Verte Aille...the vampire Yu~ki in Bara no Konrei is kickass :blush: ...not that Yu~ki isn't kickass in general :bluush:
oh yeah, and he's the best actor out of all the Malice boys.:-)

Being the shy one....Yuki actually surprised me...he has the talent. So naturally I was EXTREMELY happy when I found out he had one of the major roles in Bara no Konrei. :bluush:

Mana always takes the lesser roles, but he still manages to do even those flawlessly....

But as I'm a Yu~ki lover, I had to post something in here, I only joined because of this post :blush:
He's awesome, and since I first saw Beast of Blood (the first MM vid I watched) I fell in love with him. He's extremely shy as all you guys said, and also he lives in a world far far away from Earth, because he's really distracted (almost all the time). That doesn't make him fool or something like that...if you want someone clumsy, look for Kozi then :embarasse
If you watch interviews where there's no people/fans involved, you'll see a normal and almost cheerful Yu~ki, but if fans are there (aka, a lot of people) you'll see my Yu~ki-chan dying there XP
I guess that he gets along very well with Közi and Haruna (Klaha). I totally loved his Earl of Dracula role in Bara no Konrei. Syunikiss is the best song ever and the Gardenia outfit FTW! He reminds me the mad hatter XP
Uhmm...let's see...I love how he makes "girly" voices, he sounds reaaally funny, you should listen to the radio program he made with Haruna and Kozi :3
He's been doing nothing since Malice disbanded (nothing related to music), until 2004 when he helped Kozi to compose the Memento lyrics, they must have had a great time, huh?
I TOTALLY love Yu~ki-chan...and all this things I know (I couldn't write all of them) plus my almost 1000 pics gallery demonstrate it :3
BTW...I knew of his existance a month and a half ago...and I've only got left to say that he makes me blush everytime I see a pic of him :bluush:

Didn't he say in an interview once that he only became a bassist because the band he joined needed one and that.......I don't know the rest. But yeah, I think it had something to do with not being into music as much as the others.

he started bass because his band needed it. But that doesn't mean he doesn't like making music that much ! I think it had to do with the fact the band needed a bass player.. And he wanted to make music so he filled it in.. Probably cause he never played an instrument bevore

well I can imagine Kozi making music with Yu~ki...they have different feelings for music but who in MM didn't?I think they all were unique entities and together they made another unique entity :Dand besides I think Yu~ki is music-adaptive...I don't really think he felt good in the Klaha era...I mean maybe if they wouldn't quit then they'd maybe make more rock/metal-ish songs...such as Gensou Rakuen...and I don't think Yu~ki was a 'rocker'...but despite that he played wonderfully :cool:but I think he is adaptive to any kind of music :-)maybe that's the reason he didn't do anything solo...he hasn't got a clear image of what he likes and what he would like to play so he rather doesn't do anything :(...well nevermind here are some pics :D

Hey, I'm glad someone posted about the butterfly rings! Cos of course I saw them on the Kami pic, and then later I saw a pic with Kozi wearing one and I wondered if Kami gave it to him... but I didn't know he gave them all to the other members. That is so cute! :squeee:

Yu~ki looks great - I do like the no-make-up pics (and the one with the cage and chains! ;) ).

oh well everytime I think of Kami giving those rings to other members of MM I have such a strange feeling :(it's like I'm about to cry and I am kinda happy at the same time...it is really nice of him...but yeah this should be discussed on Kami's thread...though if you think a bit...MM were so close to each other that you can hardly talk separately about them...they are all somehow 'connected' so...but what I like the most is that they used to wear those rings...it is sooo cute...and Yu~ki is so sweet with that ring...and even if it is not the one that Kami had, I think he had it BECAUSE of Kami...as a memory:-)
