I WAS JUST WONDERING IF ANYBODY KNEW OF A BAND CALLED AWOI!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? :?
the only information I was able to find was that they formed in 2004, the members are: Otogi (vocals), Saki (bass), Sho (guitar), and Hiro (drums).
They look pretty cool, but I never had chance to listen to thier music! :relief: :(
I've found thier main web site...but it's written using alot of Kanji that I can't read yet........
So if anyone has anymore info, please tell me!!!

Awoi have a "Big Announcement" up on their site! The "Big Announcement" actually consists of three announcements, all of which are awesome:

On Monday, April 9th, Awoi will be releasing their second maxi-single, entitled Yuuyake KARASU. It will cost 1,050円 and will include three tracks, as follows:

01. 夕焼けカラス (Yuuyake KARASU/Sunset Raven)
02. 屋上 (Okujou/Rooftops)
03. 生きる痛み、君へ (Ikiru Itami, Kimi e/The Pain of Living, Unto You)

Awoi will be doing a tour promoting and selling their new single. The tour will be called 「旅鴉」 (Tabi Karasu/Traveling Crow), and the band will be making nine stops total at the following venues:
April 15 (Su) - Umeda HOLIDAY
April 26 (Th) - Nagoya HOLIDAY
May 5 (Sa) - OSAKA MUSE
May 9 (Wed) - Sendai HooK
May 10 (Th) - Niigata CLUB JUNK BOX
May 13 (Su) - Kanazawa AZ
May 20 (Su) - Nagoya HOLIDAY
May 21 (Mo) - Shinjuku HOLIDAY
May 26 (Sa) - Nishikujo BRAND NEW

In addition to their new single and tour, the final date for their Tabi Karasu tour will be a oneman show! The final will be called 「里帰り〜カラスが鳴くから〜」 (Satogaeri ~ KARASU ga Naku kara ~/Visiting Our Parents ~ Because the Crows are Singing ~) and will be held on May 26th at Nishikujo BRAND NEW in Osaka. Doors will be at 6:00PM, and Awoi will take the stage at 7:00PM. Tickets will be available via pre-sale on March 19th (I'm not positive how you're supposed to go about getting pre-sale tickets; through Nishikujo BRAND NEW?). Tickets will be available to the general public through Awoi's website/mail order, Lawson, Ticket Pia, and through the BRAND NEW box office on March 26th.
