Anyone heard of this girl (http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E7%B5%A2%E9%A6%99)? I am not so fond of most Japanese female artists, but this one is quite good.. Yeah and she's cute too and all but I don't care about that to be honest, so please don't "kawaiiiiiii" her in this thread. Thanks. :blush:

Yeah, I've heard of her song... and I sang Mikadsuki at karaoke a couple of times.

She kind of sings with a "foreign" accent, doesn't she? Normally I really hate it when people do that (like Ketsumeisi) but Ayaka's singing talent is so good that it's tolerable!! :blush:

Ayaka's singing qualities are superior

doinkies has liked ayaka since "I Believe" came out last year...^^ I like that song, "Mikazuki", "Melody", and her duet with Kobukuro, "Winding Road". She has a wonderful voice. I'm sad to hear that her BBS got overrun by doinky trolls, I guess there are doinky people like that everywhere in the world...:( I bet some doinks from 2ch did it, no offense to any non-doinky 2ch posters here ;)

Ayaka has a strong voice, maybe stronger than Hikki, so she might have been able to gain more popularity by releasing a song now while Hikki is busy in the States.

Of course, no one can really replace Hikki but it would have been a good strategic move. Alas, she just got married and probably won't be releasing any new songs for awhile.
