Cost of a Kimono

This summer i'll be visiting Kyoto for a couple of days, and I read somewhere that they make a great deal of Kimonos there. I wanted to buy one for my girlfriend, I was wondering how much they usually cost for a decent one. You know, not top of the line and not a piece of crap.

You could probably do yourself (and your wallet) a favour and just buy her a Yukata, many girls wear this instead of a kimono (for matsuri, special events, etc), and it looks quite similar to what you are thinking about... A kimono could be quite expensive, but a yukata will give you the same look you are going for... just FYI.
