1974 HOTAKA acoustic guitar

I need to find out about a guitar I have. Does anyone know anything about this guitar, where the manufacturer is. It might be an antique guitar or just and old junk guitar.

Welcome to JREF !! I hope you stick around and find out more about things Japanese in general, and all.

Now, that sounds interesting. I have no idea at the moment, but will make an attempt to check around. In the nearby area, there is a town named Hotaka. It's famous for furniture and artsy stuff. There are two glass studios here as well as a number of art musems and stuff. The was a group of folkish muscians who were famous way back (The Wasabi's) and whom I play with from time to time. I'll try to get around to seeing if one of them knows anything about it.
