June 2nd/3rd BBQ Camp in Hatonosu, Okutama

Campsite
Koesawa Buttress Campjou: Take a look there are lots of pictures.
30 minutes walk from Hatonosu station.
Really beautiful location 30 minutes into the forest. You can stay in bungalows or camp in your tent (cheaper).
We have been here three times recently so the plan works well. Usually there are between 30 and 40 people on the trip.
You should sign up soon to be sure of a place as there will be a limit of 30-40 people.
There are several good hikes around the area for all levels so there will be something to do for everyone. 100m away there is a rock climbing area - most routes are intermediate but a few for beginners. If you don't want to exercise you can just enjoy the BBQ and relax.
We usually have a special private outdoor bath for our group. Its by the stream and can fit up to about 16 people if you squeeze together! Wine and beer in the bath is our policy.
Plan
Go Saturday morning (not too early) and do the shopping. We buy and prepare everything by ourselves. People can come later but they will have to do other jobs.
The food is taken by tractor to the campsite and we can relax there for a few hours or go hiking/climbing.
Dinner preparation will begin around 4pm and everyone is expected to help out. You can take a bath anytime in the evening.
Sunday
Breakfast, clean up, pack our bags then relax or go hiking, climbing etc. There will be events organized by participants and guaranteed there will be an easy hike.
Details of hikes will be posted near the date of the trips.
Cost
Still have to calculate details but approximate cost will be 7,000 -7,500en for room, dinner, drinks, bath, breakfast, packed lunch.
About 2,000en cheaper if you camp in your tent.
You can use your sleeping bag or rent futon from the campsite - its cheap.
The train fare is about 1,100en one way to Hatonosu station.
You need to sign up with me before joining and then pay on the train Saturday morning. If you want to come later in the day you have to transfer the money to my bank account. Late cancellation might result in charges.
