well it`s only a rumor but i read this:

John Rogers - Producer/Writer of Fatal Frame the Movie
"I was attracted to the idea of doing a classic, old school haunted house picture, by focusing, too, on cool Japanese cultural additions and different ghost 'mythos' most North American audiences are unfamiliar with, we can do something unique. None of the rules about the supernatural, the characters, or our audience apply in the Fatal Frame world."
- source (Tokyo Game Show Convention 2003)

Favourite Movies: Casablanca and Rushmore

John Rogers first started out as a Canadian stand-up comic. He then went on to work for writing in Television (such as The Jackie Chan Adventures and Cosby). He moved onto features films, his first credit going to American Outlaws. Fans probably know him best for his work on The Core. Rogers jokes in his online blog he'll probably be known as the guy who was able to convience a oscar winner into the catwoman movie..before it took a turn for the worse. John Rogers is no stranger to Hollywood or Dreamworks these days. He's currently working on our beloved Fatal Frame movie, as well as Rush Hour 3, and just finished the first draft for the Transformers movie script. He also just published a short story comic Zombie Tales with Keith Giffen doing the artwork and is the head writer for the Blue Beetle DC comicbook series.

John also has an online blogsite (Kung Fu Monkey) where he talks about everything from current events, to comics, to politics. He also has a lot of great writing tips for aspiring screenwriters too! .

I think a fatal frame movie sounds good. So long as it doesn't wind up a piece of junk like the Silent Hill and Resident Evil movies.

Me and my sister would love to see that. Right now I'm playing Fatal Frame 3 :The Tormented and she loves to watch me play it. She also watched me play Fatal Frame 2. But from what I saw on the trailer was that the main character did not have the Camera Obscura. For those who don't know, Camera Obscura is the camera that you use through out the games. It would be disappointing if they didn't have it. Still, it does seem interesting.
