Awkward expression

Having a bit of trouble trying to express this phrase in Japanese:

"Of the many ways to show appreciation in Japanese, "gochisousamadeshita" is one."

I'm thinking something like:

日本語で感謝を示す多くの成句の中で、「ごちそう様で した」は一つです。

I just know there's something wrong with it though. Any suggestions?

You could turn it around.

「ごちそう様で した」は感謝を示す数多くの成句の一つです。

The 日本語で is sort of superfluous, though including it is by no means wrong.

or
日本語で感謝を表す言葉は様々です。「御馳走様でした 」はその一つです。
or
日本語で感謝を表す様々な言葉の中の一つが「御馳走様 でした」です。
