Do you guys think the ancestors of Japanese people were the same as Altaic people of central asia like the Turks, Mongols, and the Hungarians?

I don't understand it. Why every single Turkish people who joins this forum tries to prove that Japanese were Turks in the ancient times, in their first post?

I'm curious to know why it would even matter? Is it intended to forge a kind of diasporic kinship through some distant migratory pattern? What difference would it make if it were true, and what are the implications of this "blood relation" argument if it is false?

I'm sorry, but what do you mean by that? Are you implying that one or the other isn't civilized?

I'm sorry, but what do you mean by that? Are you implying that one or the other isn't civilized?until turkey picks up on its human rights issues, sorts out goverment corruption while its people starve, aknowledges and apologises for the armenien and pontic genocides, i wouldn't consider it civilised no. Once the populace stop looking back at the barbaric and bloodstained parts of their history with pride then maybe Ill change my tack.
And it wouldn't do their country and population much harm if the populace forced its goverment to do more than wage war to make the people happy.
They say people get the goverment they deserve, and they got a goverment that lets the largely illiterate population live and die in squalor while the goverment chases kurds around and acts as america's attack dog.

I'm closing this thread before it goes any further. Plus I have a feeling that the OP was using a very small link between Japanese and Turks to drum up members the website, rather than show any real interest in this one.
