A couple weeks back, a student of mine showed me his new ketai (cell phone) that had a thumbprint security pad! I suppose it would be useful to protect your phone from enemy spys, but in Japan, I figure it will be most commonly used to keep enemy wives from discovering your girlfriend's phone number...

thorgrimfile > i've got an ipaq somewhere here that has fingerprint security lock. quite usefull if your device is set to access remotely to sensitive data. it'll be the same with phones i guess ;)
