the tracks i have from the single are:
-Downer's Show

they sound close to... erm O_O trick of dice sounds like gazette... あの日咲いていた花 reminds me a bit of Duel Jewel... downer's show sounds like... almost everything XD i don't know... there's def. stuff it sounds like, i just can't remember anything specific right now XD i'll just send it...

speaking of gazette, I find that Downer's Show sounds gazette-ish as well, especially during the sort of pseudo solo/riff whatever you would call it at 1:15 seconds, sounds kinda similar to one from Filth in the Beauty

Hell, the lead singer even screams like ruki at times lol (ruki's high pitched scream from hyena and burial applicant)

maybe I'll look into them more...after all, sounding like gazette is not necessarily a bad thing lol

if I was to compare his regular singing voice to anyone, it'd probly be shou from alice nine. at times I can hear resemblances to shou during his singing.

oh dakkii, I guess sin and sakura are members of the band, not songs. Sin is the vocalist, sakura the bassist

oh also, I was looking on cdjapan and it looks like Skull is releasing a new single in early-mid august called "Ugly Black Showcase" =]

I've decided that they are a cross between Gazette and Alice Nine though they are leaning a little more toward the gazette side :D even there vocalist is a cross between shou and ruki and suprisingly, at times he even sounds a little like miku from ancafe (listen to his singing at 1:40 seconds)

it's seriously like he goes through stages in his singing, one moment he's doing kind of a fast almost rappish type sing that sounds like miku, then he goes to the high pitch screams that sound like ruki, and then he sings regularly which sounds like shou...lol how could I not like a guy who's voice is comprised of my 3 favorite vocalists lmao

I really like this mini album =] I think it's a step in the right direction for skull, it's like they are kind of beginning to find their own sound with this album, they are definitely showing an improvement. I think they also don't sound as much like gazette as in their first single, which is a good thing, gazette's great, but we don't need two of them lol. and if Skull is going to succeed, they cant be a carbon copy of gazette, they do need to find their own sound. Which is why I think this album is a success. I definitely look forward to what skull will do in the future ^^

agate is probly my fav on the album, but I also really love Starry Night <333, but the whole thing is great :D

to any Skull fans still hanging around I've got some sad news.

Bassist Sakura has decided to leave the band. His last live will be Skull's one-man live「THE LAST IV BULLET'S」at Takanobaba AREA at 2008/09/15

no word yet has been given as to why he is leaving nor whether or not Skull will continue on without him.

Personally, I can only hope they wont break up. I love these guys, it saddens me that Sakura is quitting the band but hopefully they will find a new bassist and keep going. They are to good to break up over the departure of their bassist...
