Is there any computer Pachinko games out there? I am very curious to play these games on the computer first, rather than to dive right in my first time playing them for real in Japan.

You will miss the noise and the smoke!! I got lucky on the first and only time I played pachinko. I won like 30,000 yen!! It's fun especially when you dont know what you are doing.

There are no games for the computer that I know of, but they may be out there. However, there are plenty of Pachinko and Pachislo games for Sony Playstation and they are actually very realistic. You can find them on line at Amazon Japan or in any big box electronics store. Even though it is the luck of the draw in finding a machine that will hit often (most will hit at least a few times in a day), it is still a decent way for someone to get to understand the game if he/she has never played before. It will also save you alot of money.
If you are living in the states, the games purchased in Japan will not work in US Playstations. You will have to find someone who will replace the chip that will allow you to play them, or purchase a playstation made in Japan.
Appropriate honeymoon fun? That depends on if your wife is a gambler also and can withstand the smoke and noise. Also, be prepared to devote a few hours of play if you want to make any serious money.

The old ladies always know how to win!!
Watch the "prowlers" who stand behind you watching how much you put in... then when you go to get more 100Yen coins they pounce like a tiger going in for the kill.
They then proceed to empty the machines >.< havent they heard of gamblers etiquette??

Thanks Hiroyuki. I will have to check that game out when I get home from work :)
Pachipro, we might just play for the sake of playing, so I dont think either one of us would really expect to win much. Neither one of us are big gamblers, but Pachinko has just always seemed interesting to try.
Zaff, they have those people here in the USA as well. They will either do that, or they will have 3 - 4 slot machines all hogged up to themselves.. sheesh.
