I wonder where doinkies is? I havent' heard from him on AIM in a long time. Also, mac-san I haven't heard from him either.
Anyway, is this sentence correct? I'm trying to say, "Is my japanese good?"
私の日本語がいいですか?
Also, ところで, means "At my place", right?
I'm learning using pimsleur's japanese.
ところで means 'by the way'.
also, i would use 上手 (じょうず) instead of いい in your first question, but am not 100% sure on it.

This would be better "私の日本語はどうですか?" Try not to ask whether you are good or bad at something initially, instead let the other person judge for you.

I think it's better to ask if your Japanese is correct than if it's good. And hopefully if it isn't right you'll get the corrections you need. :-)
それは正しい?(ただしい)
(日本語は)あってますか?
