First time ever... yea
I just been followed by this weird guy around his 30 - 40ish today, when I was on my way back from school.

At first I thought I was imagining it or something like that. But when I turn around, he was following me closely. WAYYYY to close to be exact. Scared the crap out of me.

Tried to avoid him by moving to the left and right side of the road but he kept on following me. In the end I went into this veggie shop nearby to see what's he's going to do which he followed too. Moved around a couple. But when I stop and wait, he came right next to me and stay there for a few sec and then make some weird "nnnnnnnnnn~" noise while looking at the eggs that was infront of us. SERIOUSLY scared the **** out of me. And then he went outside and wait nearby the door. :/

Luckily for me, the store had 2 exits. Went to the other exit, but before I go out, I check on the other side to see if he's still waiting... and yea.. he is.... Went out without looking back, and ran like hell.

At first I thought he want to mug me or something. Since I had a few experience being mug back in Malaysia, and got away 2/3 times. I thought I would use the same technique I used back there over here. 'Hard right on the crotch and call for help' technique. But when he did that sound, It scared the **** out of me.

Seriously, What the should I do at that time. I have the feeling that this is not going to be the last time I meet him :/ And over here. Nearest koban is like miles/kilometers away. (if theres any)

Why didn't you call the police (if you had a cell phone) or have the veggie store clerk call the police?

Most definitely! Nut or not, if you fear for your safety call the cops! That's what they're there for. You never know, he could have been someone they were looking for.

Hey why didn't you called me 0007 (not 007) :p

No back to reality if you have some martial arts training then fight.
If you haven't you still have the ninja skill (to run away) :p

If you are very scared then call the police is the better oppurtunity.
remember one thing in times such as these keep this phrase in your mind:

(No mind, too much mind! mind on enemy mind on situation, too many mind! no mind....)

Gambatte ne, and never hesitate to call the police!

Really bad idea, as it ends up with the OP being arrested for assault and facing a prison term and/or deportation.

Fighting back with appropriate force if assaulted is one thing. Attacking a deranged person for following one around and going "nnnnnn" is quite another entirely.

The thing to do would have been to remain in the safety of the shop and have the shop staff call the police.

How about just asking him, what his problem is? Of course inside the store, where there are other people around you?

Not even then, even if people are present. You don't know if the guy is psycho or not. He may even have a weapon. It is best to avoid any kind of confrontation and just call the cops.

If he does it again take a picture. And visit the Koban and let the cops know. Sounds like this guy is a little off. Be very aware of you surroundings.

first lure your enemy to you then you have these choices:

*if he looks friendly, then ask him what you want.
*if he looks suspicious go to the shop like Dutch Baka assumed
*if he looks very weird lure him close to you and don't think about anything and see what happen.

last choice will always be that you are going to be stabbed or that you have to fight the person in question.

Correct! Remember "self defence" means using "reasonable force". Attacking someone for going "nnnnn" at eggs is assault. If you feel unsafe, ask the shop owner to call the police.

The first 2 best things you have in a situation where you feel unsafe is your legs to run like hell, and your brain to talk your way out of it.

She just has to beat the piss out of him where he can't identify her, talk, or any of that stuff.
