What is the best thing about Japan to you? Also what is the worst thing. If you can't post both than don't post at all.
For me the best and only redeeming quality about japan is Sora Aoi.
The worst is the damn animation, I can't stand the cartoons. The bad art drives me nuts. Oh yeah one more thing the dumbass costumes that they dress in. Makes me laugh so much.

A good thing is that they are not so eager to show you their rudeness and arrogance. A bad thing, however, is that their definition of rudeness and arrogance has gone way too far, so instead of simple "yes" or "no" they are "beating about the bush" infinitely.

Best: Clean Public Transportation.
Worst: Its hard to find clothes in an XL size. Damn American frame.

How about a further rule of "If you don't know much beyond Sora Aoi and animation then don't post at all"?

If we followed rules like this, activity on the forum would nearly come to a dead stop. Besides, isn't there already a thread like this on the front page?

I said like and dislike. Those things came to mind. I like how I must not know much more than that because I didn't post more than that.

word to that. I don't know much about Japan other then the limitation on land. That's a bad thing :-)
At tofugu; they posted an article about that there, is going to be a building bigger then mount fuji in the tokyo bay to help with the population. I dunno about you, but that would be nuts :souka:

Best: Wakai onna's in tight jeans and being able to drink almost anywhere.
Worst: People walking, stopping, riding or standing in front of me. People not walking straight. People in stores reaching in front of me to get something, very rude....Yet not for the Japanese, just business as usual.

Good: Clean and efficient public transport
Bad: No service at night
Good: Wonderful food
Bad: Lack of organic or "good" ingredients (ie. Australian menus in any half decent restaurant will tell you where your fish or meat is from, like "Free range grain fed chicken" or "Coffin Bay Oysters")

Good thing: Very clean, I mean, these people are super clean. I was gonna throw away a plastic bottle of water, and my mom told me to wait till we get to the mall because that is where they have the special trash can for that.
Bad thing: Mmh, as of now, not really bad. but yeah, I do not like how they do not express themselves . I have had some trouble figuring them out.

UniQlo
not the best clothes, but they fit
and they are cheap as hail
best about japan:
Id say a few things
the Car culture is fantastic, the amount of track ive been to is mind numbing, and the sheep friendliness to gaijin, is outstanding at these events. I make friends every time i go
Also the fashion. Im a fashion head, even more so than my wife, and ive taken their fashion in completely. Brands like Midas, Chrome Hearts, and others just actually make me happy to look at. Much better than the mind numbing brands in the US that are all the same.
the worst:
smoking, i cant stand it. also cars with names liek Dihatsu MOVE. when all you want to do is have them move out of your way, normally driven by young girls or boys that cant drive if they had to for their life.
and anyone else that cant drive (my pet peeve)

Coincidence ?
Ok, I asked for that one. Good reply. Yet, really, I only count occasions during the day or after work. It is simply amazing that these people lack common sense or awareness as to where they are. They don't even account for their own safely, i.e. walking into traffic with out looking, standing in streets/walkways, head down, walking out of stores w/o looking.
Because Japan is such a crowded place I would think the opposite, that they would be extra cautious. Have you ever ran into them? They look at you like, what the hell, I can't believe you hit me. Yeah, I can't believe you're standing in the middle of the street or just walked out of the store w/o looking.
