Small school Hachioji has started Teacher Assistance Programme as a stopgap to help people until they are paid by new employers and or the company taking over NOVA. We have a lesson programme for Ex NOVA students and Teachers using our space in Hachioji. Students 2-4 per class. All materials provided. No prep necessary by teachers. Teachers receive money the day they teach. If the teachers need transportation and/or food, we will help with that, too. There may also be housing provided on a temporary basis for people in desparate need. The article about this programme appeared in the Japanese Yomiuri Newspaper on November 10th. If you want to know more call 042-631-9401 for more information. Good luck to all of you! Don't give up!
