Firstly, i have doubts about どうでしょうか...what exactly is the meaning of this expression.
second, is my ans out of the qn context?

どうでしょう, in this context, is like 'how would it be?' by adding か　it has the connotation of a question, urging the other person to answer.

If music were to fade, how would things be?

でしょう could be translated as 'suppose' etc. for example;

彼女は来ないでしょうか - I don't suppose she will come? (kind of asking the other person's opinion while showing your thoughts.)
