Just curious, as I didn't visit Japan during the Winter.

Yes. They are every where. When I left Tokyo in the beginning of November, there were Christmas trees in the stores all decorated, and the streets were lined with all sorts of Christmas lights. It was so pretty. I bought some LED lights to put on my Christmas tree here. They are so clear and bright. I would like to spend Christmas in Japan at least once. I would love to try some of the Christmas cake with the strawberries on it, they look really tasty! :)
Funny, I've yet to see a Christmas tree in Gunma. It is only December 4th though...
My friend says he has one, but it's three feet tall and plastic.
