Japanese TV

OK, first of all, I had no idea where to post this, so feel free to move it [: :cool:

Anyways...

So, I was wondering if there are any live Japanese TV stations or something to that extent on the internet. I tried searching google, but I wasn't sure of what I was looking at. I'll try looking some more, but for those of you who KNOW some, if there are any, please give me the link, or links. :-)

A quick search brought up a few sites:

The first one I've looked through and checked many of their Japanese streams. If you need language practice it's fine I suppose, but some of the feeds are just replayed and recycled, and the programming in general is pretty boring. I'd only stick to the news.

http://www.jumptv.com/ is an interesting site, but there is no listing for Japanese stations

with the second site you put up, how do i watch the TV or whatever it is...?
I figured out the first one, an dthe third one i cant figure out... and the 4th one doesnt even have japan as a choice

For the second one, just scroll down and there's a list of TV stations, just click on the "home" links. You might have to click somewhere else to select a stream, but i'll let you figure that out.

The third one links to the station sites as well, mostly news stories. Scroll down to "Japan." The sites are in Japanese, so consider that just some more practice.

The fourth link, as I said, has no Japanese stations, but is still a good site.

I've searched around a lot of channels to add to a toolbar I offer at my site. I think what is listed so far just about covers it. The most interesting (in my opinion) of the channels is the iiv channel, which you can find on wwitv.com

Also, not exactly tv but something you might be interested in is OAfun.com (http://oafun.com). they have movies, etc. that you can watch online
