Im truing to learn how to read and write japanese so does anyone have any tips?

To start:
- learn hiragana and katakana. (http://www.saiga-jp.com/img/character/japanese_language/hiragana_katakana_list.gif)
- try getting into a real japanese class, helps you a lot.

Keep notice that this will a very long road to travel, do not expect much results in the first months/year. :wave:

edit: Check the "Textbooks, tests and language schools" section, it has very helpful references.

i can say some things but i cant actualy make sentences and i cant read it so i really have a long road ahead

If you want to make some basic sentences already, then I suggest you learn some basic grammar already. This site has an absolutely great grammar guide:

The 'Basic Grammar' and 'Essential Grammar' parts are worth reading already in my opinion. But don't go any further if you don't know all hiragana and katakana.

Very true, acquiring a bank card, if at all possible one that belongs to you, and has sufficient funds.
