Hi! Umm, I've a problem - I've got a scanned version of this book (1st) and I can't seem to find an answer key there. Can anyone help out, please? :worried:

Well I'd suggest not really talking about the scanned version and simply asking for the answers with no apparent reason.

Well, I was asking for answers cos I without them cannot check if I'm making any mistakes. And since I'm studying Japanese on my own without any possibility of getting a real teacher, I figured I could at least find some help online.

Lindley,

Can you give some examples of the questions you have?

Maybe you should just purchase the book? I support your need to learn Japanese, but if you're really dedicated it shouldn't be too much of an investment to legitimately pay for some of your learning materials.

Buntaro Well, I don't have any particular questions yet, it's just that I'd like to be able to check how I'm doing the exercises.
NattyBumppo There're several reasons why I didn't buy the book itself - one is that I don't have spare money (I'm a student and also work as a translator to pay for living), another is that such books are not sold where I live, and to buy it online I'd have to have a credit card, which I cannot afford yet. That's also why I only have an option of self-study.

Lindley,

The only way we can help you is, you give us examples of what you wrote, and we will tell you if you got them right (or not) and why.

Lindley, I've been using Minna No Nihongo 1 & 2 and I must say I really dislike them. If you are serious about Japanese, then really you should be paying money. Even if you do afford the minna no nihongo books, it's not like they come with answers...you have to be an actual teacher to be able to obtain the answer book.

I have gone crazy downloading Japanese learning materials but nothing beats the hard copy stuff. Save your money and buy something decent.

If your village has a book store, they should be able to order in anything if you provide an ISBN.

I can help you with MNN if you really need it.

I have to agree that nothing beats the hardcopy but when JT are charging 18,000 yen for CDs to go with their textbooks (almost £100/$220 not including postage) you can't help but feeling you're being overcharged.
