I have found a good site, Jisho.org where I can type in a Japanese word and find out the english meaning. It works well for words that are in hiragana or katakana since I can type out the word in romaji and then the Microsoft Japanese IME converts it automatically, but how is it possible to look up a word I've never seen before that is written in Kanji? (since in that case, I wouldn't know which romaji to type)

Thanks!

Edit: the stuff I'm reading isn't in a format where I can copy and paste

Specifically, look at: "JWPce Features"
