Hi everyone

I am a member of a literature network/circle from Saudi Arabia which is interested in Japanese literature. I found myself exposed to a rich culture and a unique way of writing that captured my interest - I wish I could have the opportunity earlier!

The problem I found through my search for Japanese books that it is hardly translated to Arabic, and that it is not easy to find a source of subjects for Japanese writers.

I am writing to seek your help and support to recommend books in english that deals with Japanese writers’ experience in writing or becoming writers at a psychological level.

Have a nice day.

The Japan Foundation=>Databases=>Japanese Literature in Translation Search=>Select Arabic

The result shows 41 books are translated into Arabic.

The translation is not necessarily English-dominant, so you can find some French/German/other languages translations which cannot be found in English.

Good luck

Many thanks, pipokun. I have most of the books in the referred website but it is really nice to let me know about this wonderful site.

My question is about certain type of works by japanese authors which i don't mind read it in english if it not possible in arabic.

Thanks again.
