Can anyone recommend a minshuku on Matsushima island priced around 5,000 yen per person or maximum 10,000 yen per night?

Thank you for the information. I will look into the hotels.
Could you translate how much the Hikari charges for two people with breakfast only? Thanks.

I went today to Matsushima.
Matsushima station is not near to a pleasure boat platform.
Therefore, Matsuhimakaigan Station is near.
I asked it at a tourist information center of Matsuhimakaigan Station whether there was not cheap Ryokan.
It was recommended two Ryokan.

3 years ago, I stayed in Sendai at a ryokan. Sendai is close enough to Matsushima via a short train trip. If memory serves, it was Ryokan Bansuitei.
They were reasonable, nice rooms and served good meals.
