The original Godzilla, Haruo Nakajima, will return to North America this summer at G-FEST XV July 4-6 in Chicago.

the first Gozilla(1954) is my most favorite piece in Gozilla series. first Gozilla emerged, hit and destroyed Tokyo as if half-invisible, although Gozilla is giant.
it is said the attack of Gozilla was shot the film by design, likened to the air raid on Tokyo in WWII.
participants are really lucky. I would like to see Mr.Nakajima, too.

I liked the original "untainted by Hollywood" version of Gojira, where the actor Raymond Burr wasn't forcibly edited into the scenes to narrate to American audiences the terrible things that the monster was doing to Tokyo.... :)

I just found this on You-Tube, the original 1954 trailer for Gojira. It looks more suspenseful than any version made after it.
