Here's what i have on my playlist:
Mr. Children
Ai Otsuka
Ikimono Gakari
No Regret Life
Based on this information. Do you know what I may like?
Also, am I on the right forum? I notice the description says:
"Forum to discuss anything not related to a single artist or band/group"
But the other boards are specifically for Male, Female, and Bands. So I wasnt sure since I'm looking for anything.

I recommend :
Sugar Babe (not to be confused with the wildly popular British girl group,
Sugababes. Tatsurou Yamashita & Taeko Ohnuki were the key
members of this great pop band. Their song DOWN TOWN is
still being played today.)
Taeko Ohnuki ( I especially recommend the earlier stuff from her. The first 3 or 4 albums are just amazing. If I had to compare her to any
western songwriters, it would have to be none other than
Joni Mitchell herself. The lead singer of Mr. Children did a
cover of one of her songs a few years back.)
Happy End (A legend. The members included Haruomi Hosono, Eiichi Ohtaki,
Takashi Matsumoto and Shigeru Suzuki, all of them prominent
figures in today's Japanses music scene.)
Halmens (Off-beat, yet very hummable and addictive. People like Jun Togawa
and the singer from Pizzicato Five used to perform with them
before they hit it big. I recommend the album, Halmens Deluxe.)
Haruo Chikada (A true craftsman of POP music. He is one of the poineers of
the Japanese Hip-Hop/Soul/Rap movement. He is also
the brains behind one of the best Japanese pop-rock bands
of the 80s, Juicy Fruits)
Those are the one I could think of off the top of my head. Guessing from looking at the list of your favorites, I take it that you like pop music. The ones I listed above are some of THE BEST (OK, OK, in MY opinions) Japan can offer when it comes to pop music.
