I have been participating in a Leeds based art and craft market for a few months now and have my own website.

I offer a range of Japanese gifts, customer made shodo pieces, tattoo design and I teach Japanese classes.

kichi-japanese-gifts.co.uk

Please take a look at my website and if you live near Leeds please come to the Artsmix market, Chancellors Court, Assembly Street, Leeds (Behind the Corn Exchange). You can see my stall and products in person as well as many other excellent craft exhibitors.

Thanks

I think the cost of living could play a part, but it is hard to tell if the OP agrees with that or not? The original post is pretty kryted.

kryted?

The cost of living is certainly a factor.

I think there are an increasing number of career women in Japan. Many women want to work but a total lack of childcare or any support for working moms makes children and a career an either/ or choice.
