Hi: another "can you do it in a day" question:
when on a very tight time schedule:
is it possible to go to Okayama from Kyoto, check out the Oyakama Castle, then see BOTH Kurashiki AND Bizen all on the one day: looking at Hyperdia train timetables it seems most of the time would be spent traveling....
Also, for someone interested in pottery (we went to Mashiko earlier this year and loved it) is it worth going to BOTH Kurashiki and Bizen: guide books tell us there is a lot of Bizenyaki ware to be seen in Kurashiki; family tell us "Kurashiki is overdone"!!.....
