Can you recommend me good aircons to buy in Japan?

and do you think these reviews at kakaku.com are reliable?

All the items mentioned on the page are made by well-known brands. I do not think there is a danger of any of these ACs not doing at least a decent job.

As Ashikaga said, you should be fine. Used aircons tend to be just fine from my experience so...

If you can, get Daikin they are the most reliable.

You'd be surprised at how many brands of things are actually made by some other company, with the only difference being the logo slapped on at the end of the production line.

I used to haul Daikin air conditioners.....under the Yamatane and Tokyo Gas brand names.

Thank you! I was trying to find out about the humidifier feature of the Daikin aircons. Does anyone know how this works?

I'm also interested in Mitsubishi's Kirigamine series.
