August 15th,2008(today) 125 million Japanese will focus on the Olympics, thanks in part to the media...I repeat 125 million....The Emperor of Japan who too, like so many of his mindless herds will focus on Gold and Silver rather than Red; the blood of millions of Japanese souls that died in his name. Today he will not lay a wreath on the memorial epitaphs of the youths his father sent so carelessly to their deaths, so easily and so mindlessly.

Today, the emperor will stand proudly, clapping his hands as yet another olympic athletes receives another medal in the countries honor. I can see the emperor's eyes glistening with pride as the slow dirge of the Japanese national anthem play out over the loud speakers for all the world to hear. I can see the distant fan waving that all too familiar red and white flag bearing the symbol and legacy of his majesty Emperor Akihito. This is Japanese pride !

What you won't see here in Japan, is that same fan waving that same flag here in the countries honor. You see, to wave that Japanese flag in Japan would constitute as an offense, as most Japanese regard it as a symbol of right wing aggression, and Anarchy ! Even visiting Yasukuni Shrine, or even mentioning its name is considered taboo, and is not talked about in social circles.

The souls of millions of Japanese men and women lay at the foot of Yasukuni dishonoured and disrespected, not only by 125 million Japanese, but by the emperor himself ! No one dare stand in their honor ;no one sings a song in their name; No one is grateful for their sacrifices; no one is holding a candle lit vigil in their memory ! They died defending the country from foreign aggression. They died following orders; they died honouring the emperor; they died so that millions of spoiled and ungrateful Japanese can live in prosperity and peace. The Soul of Japan died with those millions of Japanese soldiers.

And so far, it is now 11 am here in the US and not one word has been mentioned of this day, Japan's surrender to the Allied Forces. The only news I heard of it was on the business channel saying that South Korea's stock market was closed in honor of "Liberation Day"...the day Japan surrendered, thereby giving up their occupation of Korea. As with the anniversaries of the bombings of Nagasaki and Hiroshima a few days ago, I believe hardly a word will be mentioned today and hardly anyone will know the importance of this day.

It will be interesting to see if the "Fox Report with Shepard Smith" says something in their last 5 minutes when they do "Today In History". I believe they will as how can they not?

Those millions SHOULD be honored above everyone else in Japan for their sacrifices..whether they were "right" or "wrong" They did what they were told to do by by their god, and proved their loyalty to their very deaths.
The reponsibility aspect of what they did lies with whomever commanded them and made no move to stop them from making an worthless sacrifice for a doomed cause.
That all falls on thier god/Emperor and he knows that to be true.
Him and his decendants should be worshipping THEM, instead of vice versa in my humble stupid american uneducated opinion.
When a leader as revered as that does NOT follow his lower obedient troop's example, THAT should be a GREAT dishonor to him and his decendants imo.
A true leader would have first taken on FDR and the entire US himself...and if he fell in the process of such, his followers should have chosen to die a terrible death doing the same with their fallen valiant leader, instead of chosing to surrender and live without him and his leadership.
THAT is the best and ultimate leader imo.
Come with me in death, honor, and victory...rather than to survive and thrive in terrible life, dishonor, and defeat without me.
What would YOU do?
Would you like for me to go first, to SHOW instead of TELL you what must be done?
How ya want it?
