Hello,

I've been asked in a Japan-related Russian-speaking forum I administrate about ju-jutsu (jujitsu). The questions were as follows:

1)How popular is this martial art in contemporary Japan, especially compared to other Japanese martial arts and also compared to the first half of XX century?
2)How often, if ever, is ju-jutsu mentioned in mass media and shown on TV?
3)Any information about recommended ju-jutsu schools in Japan, especially in big cities like Tokyo, would be appreciated.
4)Are there any English-speaking forums dedicated to ju-jutsu in Japan?

I assume you are talking about Japanese Juijitsu and not Brazillian.

I would try asking your question at www.judoforum.com It's a Judo forum but there are quite a few knowledgeable people there. Plus Jigaro Kano was a Jujitsu player before he created Judo.
