Nothing to worry about. Look here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japanese_input_methods).

yeah i think most computers have the capability of changing from english to japanese and vice versa. and all keyboards that i have seen are basically the same as US ones with a few small differences like a smaller space bar which gets annoying sometimes haha

Don't forget that many of the special characters (e.g., @, $, %, etc) are in different spots. Worst thing that always happens is you brush against one of those keys that puts it in Japanese mode and you struggle to find how to change back.

But the keyboards are better than French keyboards. I was totally screwed up in France - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keyboard_layout#AZERTY

I got fed up pretty fast trying to write Finnish with everything weird places and a couple of important letters missing.. :okashii:

Best to take a keyboard with you from home!

Stuff I take for granted, like the ' key, is in weird-ass locations and I have to hunt and peck for them.
