xxxHolic?

I recently noticed that the anime xxxHolic is available on DVD over here, i've heard people say it is a good anime, but i was wondering what your opinions are on it :) ? Would you say it is good enough to get on DVD or check out in general?

I would say its one the best anime ever made. The graphics might not be that impressive and seem a bit wierd at first but the storyline is really cool.

i luv it, and happy with just reading the manga.
if you like any Clamp manga, i'd even say this is the one with the best story..

speaking of which i might go see if there are any new chapters out.

I finished watching this some weeks back and I was quite impressed. It has such an eerie feel, really goth, which I thought would suck if it was so constant, but they really managed to balance it out. It's also quite an intelligent anime too, it has the usual 'message' type thing, but is in my eyes a more realistic one, dealing with more personal issues that most animes gloss over with either overly complex or too simple answers.

I'm not one who usually watches this sort of anime, because I expect lolita fashion influenced, pretty boy type rubbish with no real story, but I'm really glad I watched this. Once I started watching I couldn't stop, so definitely check it out and that goes for those who put this off for either the reasons I already stated or some other reason, just give it a try.
