2008 Japan Expo In Los Angeles

This year's Japan Expo will be held December 13 and 14 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

I've found it useful for obtaining travel information besides buying Japanese goods.

If you happen to be in or near Los Angeles, it would be worthwhile to check it out.

can you help me find where the information is? Last month I was planning to go, but then now that I look at the website it only has info for the 2009 expo. And last month when i looked at the schedule at the los angeles convention center website it didn't have japan expo there and it still doesn't. i would like to go, but where do you get tickets? im pretty sure my mom won't drive me there when it seems like it's not even happening.

That's weird. The Japanese pages seem to still have the 2008 info. The Expo is definitely December 13 and 14 and you can buy admission tickets at the door.

I actually called the office and they said that this yrs Expo was cancelled and Oct 2009 is the next date.

We went down there and it was indeed canceled. Wonder why?

Anyway, we ended up going to Little Tokyo instead where I picked up a 2009 Mt. Fuji calendar at Kinokuniya Books.
