How do you internet service on cell phone in Japan ?

I'm of immediate interest to use internet service by foreign people on cell phone in japan.
many japanese people use internet server on cell phone in the train and cafe etc.
I think foreign people don't use internet service on cell phone.
Do you know foreign language service on cell phone in Japan ?

I used the internet sparingly on my phone when I was in Japan, but that's because the data packets were so expensive. I used it to check the train schedules more than anything else. My phone wasn't fully internet-able (ie no real web browser), so I just used a handful of sites I knew were optimized for cell phone (optimized sites = smaller files = cheaper to access on a data plan).

I now have an iphone with an unlimited data plan, and I use it more than my laptop to access the internet, though I'm no longer living in Japan.

What do you mean by "foreign language service"?

In Japan I use my Nokia mobile phone to access the same internet sites as I do on my PC.

Also, when I'm out looking for a livehouse or other establishment, I just Google it on my mobile phone, follow the link to the the site and then download the map.

Or if I've lost my way, I start the maps application on my phone, wait for it to get a GPS fix, and a map of my current location appears.

I also regularly access the Japanese www.hyperdia.com train information site.

I also have access to Softbank's iMode services, but I find the 'real' internet to be superior.

I think data packet service is so expensive on cell phone.But in japanese wifi infara is very poor and complicated.
foreign language service means multi langeage service.For example google news.
iPhone is good.iPhone can connect softbank mobile network and wifi.I want to can use data transfer tool for laptop pc like emobile.
