Hiya folks,
I'm thinking of heading over to Tokyo in 2010 to study Japanese. I did some research and found that most of the Japanese schools in Tokyo offer full-time courses for at least 1 year. Now the thing is, I don't have the finances to afford to live in Japan for a year so I'm aiming for 6 months instead.
But would schools offer pre-college visas for only 6 months? I was thinking of going for only 3 months on a tourist visa but I think that would be too short a period to accomplish anything and I won't be able to work. On a pre-college visa at least I'd be able to work a few hours a day to offset some cost and I get to learn Japanese while working too!
Any info would be appreciated! :-)
