Dear all,
Could you please teach me whether there is any kind of certificate of programming in Japan ( like C or C++)? If any, is there a way for foreigners to get it?
Thank you for your help.

There seems to be C言語プログラミング能力認定試験 organized by Certify Inc., but I have no idea whether this certificate is good or not, or whether it is valid outside Japan of not.
Obviously you need to be fluent to take this test as it appears to be offered only in Japanese language...

(You'll find other test for certification on IT field under 情報処理能力認定委員会 in green.)

I got turn down at a few IT Company interview just because I didn't have that certificate even tho I have already have a few other certificate under my belt. I didn't take it because it was too expensive.

if you are in a school of somesort, you should be able to apply directly through the 学生サポートセンタ and such.

Undrentide san, Kirirao san,
Thank you so much for your information m(_)m
It looks like these certificates are over my capability. Although I can read Japanese, my knowledge of programming is just C only (and it is also very very basic:relief:). I know nothing about networking or security or such. I just want to apply for a job relating Financial Engineering that needs a certificate in programming but it seems impossible to get it in Japan as the requirement is so high . :(
