Sorry, I know it's a topic that gets asked about a lot, and maybe it annoys some of you but this is a specific question I haven't seen around yet.
As many people, I used a student loan to pay for college. I'm still paying it off and was wondering if this will in any way have an affect on getting my spousal visa?
I don't see why it would because I'll still be a US Citizen and I'll still be able to pay it from Japan. Not to mention I'm sure there's others living in Japan who have student loans. I'm just getting paranoid about the whole process so I wanted to make sure.
