In this case, it refers to the surface of the earth, a wave hits the surface....

Wrutsu must be a mispelling -- but even so, do you understand the first part?

For real? :D Only in the land of J-pop can you get away with this. Otherwise it is simply "the children of the waltz hit/strike the wave onto the surface of the earth."

Tori, from the verb toru, （取る）means to take -- The children of the pebbles take or hold hands and write a waltz.



ikudomo:
sono kakera ikudomo yonamo o tataku]
Ikudomo （幾度も）means many times or continuously -- The fragments strike the surface of the earth over and over. 　



shirushita:
subete o shirushita kumikyoku ga hibiku
Shirushita （記した）normally means to be recorded or written down/noted. I'm not familiar with "kumikyoku" -- but it sounds like a kind of recorded music that echoed or resonated (hibiku) with everyone. :note:

I don't know that the "ri" form of a verb is a distinct form -- but it is used for non-final verbs in a series of predicators (in this case "toru" followed by "kaku"). For example, you can say something like "Ato shuujikan de shigoto ga owari uchi ni kaeremasu." I'll be able to finish my work and go home in a few hours. It may also be used with the honorific "ni narimasu" -- as in "Otori ni natte kudasai" (please take it). :note:

I know that we can use the te form to put two sentences together:
isu ni suwatte hon o yomimashita.
instead of sorekara

And "sore kara" would indeed sound strange in this case (isu ni suwatte sore kara hon o yomimashita) because within a sentence after a "te" verb it generally has the implication of "finally" or "at last."


Something like: "Kyou haha wa ima o souji shitari kaimono ni ittari shite, hirugohan o tabete, sanji kara tomodachi no ie e ittari piano wo renshuu shitari shite, sore kara bangohan o tsukutte kureta." :note: (Today my mother cleaned the living room, went shopping, ate lunch, from three o clock went to a friend's house, practiced the piano and finally made dinner.)

Although you could use just "kara" as a connecting preposition to emphasize reading the book only after sitting down.
(Isu ni suwatte kara hon wo yomimashita).
