art style

hey everyone,

it's me again. i always been curious what you call the art style that you mixed cartooning and anime? since that's the art style i use when i draw. i know there's a few cartoons with that style but they called it anime-influenced animation. thank you all for your time.

I believe in Japan the term "anime" really refers to all cartoons, they don't care about it being Japanese or not, so really you can call it whatever you want, its only western fanboys etc who have such a definition, at least that is what I found out.

i don't think it has a official name. but i was thinking they should call it champloo since it means mixed well. i know it's a popular art style. everyone i talk to said my artwork looks anime like but my parents tell me i'm a cartoonist and draw cartoons. i know alot of people say anime is a japanese cartoon. but there's alot of different art style like fine art and mixed media and pop art.
